LESION IDENTIFICATION

We work closely with qualified dermatologists. If unsure about a lesion, we use a specialised device and send specialised images to them. A dermatologist diagnoses the lesion and can prescribe a way forward.

Aftercare Guidelines

Keep the Treated Area Clean
Gently wash the area once or twice daily to maintain hygiene and prevent infection.
Minimal Bandaging Required
A bandage or dressing is only needed if the area is prone to friction or injury.
Expect Natural Healing Changes
Lesions typically scab and fall off within a couple of weeks, though healing time may vary.
Be Aware of Temporary Skin Changes
Some patients may experience hypopigmentation (lighter skin) or hyperpigmentation (darker skin), especially those with darker skin tones. This usually improves over time.
Protect the Skin from Sun Exposure
The treated area is more sensitive to sunburn—always apply sunscreen to protect it.
