| Consultations |
| Clients are strongly advised to book an in-person consultation prior to any treatment to assess suitability and ensure informed decision-making.
During consultations, treatment options, expectations, contraindications, and costs will be clearly explained.
The final decision to proceed
with any treatment without a consultation is made at the client’s own discretion and responsibility.
Clients who choose to proceed with a treatment without attending a prior consultation will be guided with the utmost care and professionalism throughout their session. However, by doing so, the client acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the outcome of the treatment, particularly in cases where an alternative has been recommended but declined. Consultation charges may be redeemable against treatment if treatment is booked and completed within 2 weeks of consultation. |
| Bookings & Appointments |
| All appointments must be secured with a non-refundable booking fee, which is deducted from the final treatment cost.
Clients are advised to arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and any necessary forms.
Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes may result in rescheduling or a shortened session, charged in full.
Late Arrivals (upto 10 minutes late), may get partial treatment (at the therapist/aestheticians/practitioners discretion) depending on the time available in the scheduled appointments. Lateness shall not be allowed to impact subsequent clients.
Late Arrivals, more than 10mins after the scheduled time, shall be classed as No Shows and no refund shall be due. 100% of the fees/costs shall be retained by Skin Tone Clinic. |

| Package bookings
require a £100 booking fee, 50% of the balance to be paid 1 week before session 1 and the remaining balance to be paid 2 weeks after session 1 |
| Cancellations & Rescheduling |
| A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a loss of the booking fee.
No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full treatment cost.
Cancellations / Rebooking within 24 hours pre-appointment, no refund shall be given and 100% of the treatment cost shall be retained by Skin Tone Clinic.
Cancellation / Rebooking 24-48 hours pre-appointment, a 50% cancellation fee shall be applied. The balance 50% may only be allocated to the next scheduled appointment provided it is arranged within 2 weeks of the initial appointment.
No Shows shall not be refundable. 100% of any fees/costs shall be retained by Skin Tone Clinic

| Suitability for Treatment |
| All treatments are subject to a professional assessment. Skin Tone Clinic reserves the right to decline or defer treatment if it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe for the client.
Certain treatments may not be performed on clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have specific medical conditions. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant medical history. |
| Results & Expectations |
| Treatment outcomes vary depending on individual skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Results are not guaranteed.
A course of treatments may be recommended for optimal and lasting results. This will be discussed during consultation. |
| Treatment Add-Ons & Boosters |
| Enhancements or autologous boosters (e.g. platelet-rich plasma) can be added to certain treatments where appropriate.
These will be explained fully, including cost, during your consultation or prior to treatment. |
| Aftercare & Client Responsibility |
| Aftercare instructions will be provided following each treatment. It is essential that these are followed to maximise results and minimise side effects.
Clients who choose not to follow medical or professional recommendations, or who self-direct their treatment without consultation, accept full responsibility for the outcome. |
| Payments |
| We accept major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and pre-approved payment plans for selected services.
All payments must be made in full on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed in writing. |
| Privacy & Confidentiality |
| Client information and photographs are handled with strict confidentiality in line with GDPR.
Before and after images may be used for educational or promotional purposes only with the client’s signed consent. |
| Children & Guests |
| Due to safety and the clinical environment, children under 16 and additional guests are not permitted in treatment rooms. |
